Well, the pictures are almost done. I'm still amazed of how many pictures I took. That's the good and bad thing with the digital camera. Now the challenge is to weed through them to see which ones to get for me!

The view of the Eiffel tower from our hotel room. Seriously, I had a good laugh |
The Louvre Museum in the morning without the swarms of people |
Random interesting bits from the Louvre, they had a lot to look at |
The crowds waiting to see the Mona Lisa, it was crazy busy. Then I read an article today about Paris and there are people lined up right before the museum opens and they all run to have some quiet time with the painting. We didn't care enough to wait in the line! |
The never ending corridor of paintings |
A lovely view of the river Seine |
A fine example of some Parisian architecture with all the wrought iron, and of course, the McDonalds! |
The closed Catacombs, am still disappointed |
The green gate in the middle is actually a driveway. We were really surprised when cars were driving through. Small cars, but still! |
Terrible self portrait from the bus |
Les Invalides with the awesome trees |
The precise parks of Paris, our tour guide said that French people like well designed parks, no randomness here |
Close up of Notre Dame, once again they had crazy lineups to get in |
Arc de Triomphe, didn't get a chance to see it up close but the traffic around it was terrifying |
I liked this building with all the plants growing up it |
The Eiffel tower, what's a trip to Paris without it?? We took the elevator up to the middle level, didn't have time to climb the stairs to the top. But we did climb the stairs down to the first level, that was tiring so we took the elevator down the rest of the way. We were concerned that we might not be able to walk the next day if we went all the way down |
View from the Eiffle tower |
Montparnasse tower from the Eiffle tower, it's where we stayed, nice and easy to find our way back! |
Here I am up on the Eiffel tower |
